Delicious Garlic Shrimp Pasta Recipe

Delicious Garlic Shrimp Pasta Recipe
Equipment
- Large pot (for pasta)
- Large skillet or pan
- Colander
- Tongs or wooden spoon
- Knife and cutting board
Ingredients
For the Pasta:
- 8 oz 225g linguine or spaghetti
- Salt for boiling water
For the Shrimp:
Instructions
Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp, season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add lemon juice and stir.
Combine Everything
- Return the shrimp to the skillet, followed by the cooked pasta.
- Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
- Stir in chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Serve & Enjoy
- Serve warm with extra Parmesan and parsley on top.
- Optional: Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for extra heat!
