- 12 slices of bacon cut into thirds
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup optional, for extra flavor
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika optional, for a smoky kick
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Bacon and Smokies:
- Cut each slice of bacon into thirds to ensure they’re just the right size to wrap around the smokies.
- Wrap each little smoky with a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
Coat with Brown Sugar:
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and smoked paprika (if using).
