The whole process of making Christmas Oreos balls is super simple and in less than an hour, your delicious chocolatey balls will be ready to be served. 

Ingredients for Making Christmas Oreo Balls

Here are the ingredients you need to prepare these delicious Christmas Oreo balls at home.

  • 36 Oreos
  • 1 (8-ounce) pack of softened cream cheese
  • 10 ounces of white chocolate melting wafers
  • 10 ounces of dark chocolate melting wafers
  • Christmas sprinkles

Instructions for Making Christmas Oreo Balls

Once you have the ingredients ready, here are the simple step-by-step instructions you need to follow to make Christmas Oreo balls at home.

Step 1: Toss the Oreo into a food processor, and blend till it is fine.

Step 2: In a large bowl, add in the blended Oreo and cream cheese, then mix together till they’re fully combined.

Step 3: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 4: Use a cookie scoop to place the Oreo mix onto the parchment paper, then roll it into balls with your hand after scooping.

Step 5: Transfer to a freezer and let the Oreo balls chill for about 30 minutes. Separate them into two halves.

Step 6: Melt the white chocolate melting wafers until smooth, dip the first half of Oreos balls in then top with Christmas sprinkles.

Step 7: Melt the dark chocolate melting wafers until smooth, dip the second half of the Oreo ball in, then top with Christmas sprinkles.

Step 8: Set aside on the baking sheet and allow to cool till firm in a fridge.

Note: 

  • For the Oreos, you can choose to remove the fillings and also decide to leave them in, both are good to go.

How to Store Christmas Oreo Balls

If you are lucky enough to have leftovers when you make Christmas Oreo balls, here’s how you can store them.

  • Place them in an airtight container, and store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
  • Place them in a freezer-safe container and store in the freezer for up to 2 months. Allow to thaw overnight in the fridge before eating again. 

When you’re ready to eat them, allow them to reach room temperature before they are served.
