  • 12-count Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 5 ounces of pepperoni slices
  • 1½ cups of pizza sauce
  • 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, shredded 
  • ½ cup of Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¼ cup of butter, unsalted, melted
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of dried oregano 
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt 
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley leaves, chopped

Instructions to Prepare Pepperoni Pizza Sliders

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to prepare this delightful pepperoni pizza sliders recipe.

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (or 200°C). Spray your 9×13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Step 2: Slice the Hawaiian sweet rolls into half horizontally, and place the bottom half on the baking pan.

Step 3: Spread the bottom half with pizza sauce, top with the pepperoni slices, and evenly spread the shredded mozzarella over it. Place the top of the rolls back on top.

Step 4: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, chopped parsley, and salt. Spread this mixture over the top of the rolls.

Step 5: Cover the baking pan with foil, and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Now, remove the foil, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Step 6: If the rolls are still connected, use a knife to gently separate them, and serve right away.

Notes:

  • If you have some leftovers, transfer the pizza sliders into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days but know that they get soggy as each day passes.
