- ½ package of frozen puff pastry, defrosted
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 2 stalks celery, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste

Here are the step-by-step instructions for preparing this sausage roll recipe with puff pastry at home.
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 300°F (or 150°F).
Step 2: In a bowl, add the ground pork sausage, onions, garlic, celery, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Step 3: Roll one puff pastry roll onto a baking sheet, and evenly spread ½ of the sausage mixture over it.
Step 4: Starting with one short side, roll the pastry to the other end, and seal with a moist fork. Now, slice the log-like roll into 1-inch pieces. Repeat this with the second pastry roll sheet and the other half of the sausage mixture.
Step 5: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, and set the roll pieces flat on it.
Step 6: Transfer to your preheated oven, and bake for about 20 minutes, flipping onto the other side after 10 minutes. Remove and set on a paper towel, until it cools down a bit.
