Ramen noodles are a go-to for many college students and sometimes, you need to switch things up with new ramen noodle recipes. This Spicy Beef Ramen recipe does just that for you, it takes your regular ramen up multiple notches by enhancing the taste and flavor. Let’s get right into it.

This Spicy Beef Ramen recipe is one you need to add to your repertoire, it elevates the usual ramen experience. Thanks to the ground beef, red pepper, and chili garlic sauce, all topped with a soft-boiled egg, this dish passes the taste and aesthetics tests. Keeping in mind the simple nature of ramen, this recipe is also very simple to prepare.

How to Prepare Spicy Beef Ramen Recipe

No one wants to spend time preparing ramen and this recipe acknowledges that. It is straightforward and in less than 30 minutes, it’ll be ready.

Ingredients to Prepare Spicy Beef Ramen

Well, here are the ingredients you need to prepare this quick, and tasty dish at home.

  • 1 pound of ground beef
  • 4 packages of ramen, beef flavored if available
  • 3 large eggs, soft boiled
  • 1 tablespoon of chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of white rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Sliced green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish, optional

Instructions to Prepare Spicy Beef Ramen

Once you have gathered all the ingredients, here are the step-by-step instructions you need to prepare this delicious recipe.

Step 1: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, salt, and peppers until the beef is browned. Drain any grease.

Step 2: Add in the garlic and cook for about a minute. Now, reduce the heat to low, and stir in the rice vinegar and chili garlic sauce. After a few minutes, take off the heat and set aside.

Step 3: Time to soft boil your eggs. Boil about 2 inches of water in a pan and add in the eggs. Allow to keep boiling for 5-7 minutes. Afterward, remove and set in a bowl of ice, then peel the eggs. Set it aside.

Step 4: In a large skillet, bring 16 cups of salted water to a boil. Add in the ramen noodles without the seasoning packets, and cook for about 3-4 minutes.

Step 5: Drain the noodles while reserving one cup of the noodles water.

Step 6: Add the drained noodles, seasoning packets, and noodles water to the beef mixture. Stir to combine and cook for about 1-3 minutes on low heat.

Step 7: Slice the soft-boiled eggs into halves. Now, serve the ramen in 6 bowls, top with a soft-boiled egg half, some sliced green onions, and sesame seeds.
