- 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 12 thin slices deli ham
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 5 ounces cream cheese softened
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup onion minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 175°C). Take the Hawaiian sweet rolls, and slice in half horizontally.
In a bowl, mix cream cheese and garlic powder until well combined. Now, spread the cream cheese mixture over the surface of the two halves of the rolls.
Place the bottom half of the rolls in a baking dish (9x13”). Evenly layer each bottom roll with slices of cheese and ham. Place the top half of the dinner rolls over the fillings.
In a saucepan over low heat, add the butter, onions, garlic, parsley, and mustard. Stir until everything is melted and well combined.
Now, brush this butter mixture over the tops and sides of the rolls.
Cover the baking dish with foil, and bake in your pre-heated oven for 15-18 minutes. After this, remove the foil, and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
Viola! Your delightful ham and cheese sliders are ready. Enjoy!
- If the rolls are still connected, gently slice through individual sliders so they are separated and easy to grab.
- If you want to make it ahead, assemble the sandwich up to 1 day in advance, then prepare the butter mixture and brush over before baking.
