This winter fruit salad recipe gives you an irresistible side dish that is packed with flavor and sweetness whilst looking absolutely beautiful. The sweet pineapples with the kiwi, oranges, and pomegranate seeds amongst others make for a memorable salad.

Ingredients for Preparing Winter Fruit Salad

Here are the ingredients you need to prepare this delicious winter fruit salad recipe.

For Salad

  • 3 cups of fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups of mandarin orange sections
  • 2 cups of kiwi chunks
  • 1 cup of pomegranate arils
  • 1 cup of blueberries, optional

For Dressing

  • 3 tablespoons of honey
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice, or lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds, optional
  • Fresh mint leaves, as garnish

Instructions for Preparing Winter Salad Recipe

Here are the step-by-step instructions on preparing winter fruit salad.

Step 1: In a bowl, add in the honey, lime juice, and poppy seeds, whisk until they’re combined.

Step 2: In a serving, add in all the salad ingredients (all the fruits), and pour the dressing over them.

Step 3: Toss to make sure the dressing coats the fruits properly. Cover and refrigerate for a few hours before serving.
