Delicious Homemade Frittata Recipe
A frittata is an egg-based Italian dish that is similar to an omelet or quiche but without the crust. The term “frittata” comes from the Italian word friggere, meaning “to fry,” which perfectly describes how frittata is made/cooked.
Unlike omelets, which are folded around fillings, frittatas are cooked flat and are often finished in the oven to achieve a fluffy, custard-like texture. They can be cooked in a skillet or baked in a dish and are served sliced, similar to a pie or pizza.
Anyone who has tried frittata would understand how delicious and filling it can be, it’s perhaps why it is a very popular dish among the Italians as well as those who love trying their foods. In this guided recipe, I’ll be sharing with you how to make frittata that even your grandma would approve of. This frittata recipe is meant to be simple and easy to follow, yet delicious and perfect.
