Loveliest Delicata Squash Recipe Ever

This Roasted Delicata Squash with Maple & Sage is the ultimate cozy side dish for fall and winter. Delicata squash, known for its creamy, slightly sweet flesh and edible skin, requires minimal prep—just slice, season, and roast to golden perfection. In this recipe, olive oil, maple syrup, and fresh sage enhance the squash’s natural sweetness and nutty flavor, making each bite a delightful mix of savory and sweet.

To enjoy this dish at its best, serve it as a warm side with roasted meats like chicken or pork, where its maple sweetness balances savory proteins perfectly. For a vegetarian option, pair it with a hearty grain bowl, adding flavors that complement seasonal veggies, nuts, and cranberries. For extra depth, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese right before serving, adding a slightly salty, nutty finish.

This guided recipe is meant to guide and help you start making and enjoying some delicata squash recipe at home in a matter of minutes.
