Ingredients
  

  • 460 grams about 4 large or 5 medium ripe bananas, mashed
  • 200 grams 1 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 120 milliliters 1/2 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 5 milliliters 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 250 grams 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 5 grams 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 grams 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Optional add-ins: chopped nuts such as walnuts or pecans, chocolate chips, or dried fruit

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, melted butter or coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in a dense banana bread.
